It started as most things do

with an invitation

Everyday Graces began with a visit to an aunt. My aunt invited us to learn how to make rosaries. Rosaries have been a part of my prayer life for a long time and I said “Yes” without hesitation.

My aunt learned how to make rosaries for mission work. I loved the idea. I worked on the ones she sent to me. I mailed them back and she gave me feedback. I then started ordering the kits myself. To make it sustainable since I work on them myself, not associated with any non profit or other group, I was given an idea to create handmade rosaries in which a portion of the sale would go into a fund to purchase the supplies necessary to continue making the mission rosaries.

And Then… I realized that I also Love praying novenas…

but with a hectic schedule I will often forget day to day what my intention is. I thought that having a small notebook where I had space for reflection for each day of the novena and a place to write the intentions would be ideal. And so…

The invitation to learn grew into something more
